About Big Thunder Nordic Ski Club

Established in 1972, Big Thunder Nordic Ski Club started to promote and develop the sport of cross-country skiing at both recreational and competitive levels in Thunder Bay and the surrounding area.

Big Thunder Nordic Ski Club proudly hosts many races and special events each year.  Big Thunder Ski Club offers a variety of programs and events and provides a great cross-country skiing experience for children and adults of all ages and abilities.

All of the Big Thunder Nordic Ski Club programs are fun, friendly and geared to the interests and abilities of those who participate, and there’s something for everyone.
